Church History

Welcome to North Gate Christian Church Online

North Gate was first launched at the Albury Public School Hall at 10.00am on October 28, 2001 with four people: Jason and Treena and their two daughters.

North Gate is known for preaching and teaching a relational, relevant and real gospel message; for being friendly; for creating a faith-filled atmosphere; and for providing great hospitality! We invite you to come along, relax and enjoy our church services every Sunday at 10.00am.

The ministry of North Gate is very practical, as we believe that spirituality and practicality go hand in hand. North Gate is committed to all of the foundational doctrines and values of the Christian church, while at the same time being very relational and contemporary in our style.

Where did the name "North Gate" come from? North Gate comes from Ezekiel 44:4 in the Bible, which says: "Then He brought me by way of the North Gate to the front of the temple; and I looked, and behold the glory of the LORD filled the temple of the LORD."

We believe that the church needs to be the most loving, the most positive and the most gracious place on Planet Earth. We extend this love of God to you regardless of who you are, where you have been in your past, or what your current circumstance is.

If you have any questions at all regarding who we are as a church or what our philosophy of ministry is, then either one of us or one of our pastoral team members would love to make a time suitable with you over a latté - our shout! Just contact us or please fill in and submit the visitors slip.

Ps Jason and Treena Mannering.
