eNerGY North Gate Youth

Let us introduce ourselves – we are Adam and Kelly Nicholson, the youth pastors of North Gate Christian Church. Adam is also the Chaplain at Wodonga Middle Years College, and Kelly spends her days looking after Ayce, the best looking baby boy ever.

eNerGY began in 2004 with our vision for a high school youth ministry where every young person feels welcomed and valued and free to be who God has called them to be. So the reason we do what we do is because we believe in God and we believe in the plan He has for every young person’s life - including YOU! Plus we love just talking to and hanging out with young people because they know how to have fun!

Each term we give everyone a card that has all of our events and dates on it, so make sure you check these out and don’t miss a thing! And friends are always welcome, so grab some extra term cards for all of your buddies!

Basically what we do in eNerGY is:

We run a fortnightly group on a Tuesday or Wednesday night called Cell, where we split guys and girls into groups and discuss a range of issues youth like yourselves face on a daily basis. While eNerGY is a high school ministry, we have also initiated 6ener8 Cells (for youth in years 6 to 8) to include year 6 in that important transition between primary and high school.

We also have Big eNerGY Events throughout the year, where we take eNerGY out into the community, put on free events and meet more awesome young people.

Consider this a formal invitation to attend all of the fore-mentioned proceedings… in other words we would love to meet you and to have you be a part of eNerGY! We believe that God has a plan for your life and eNerGY exists to help you realise just how awesome and fulfilling it can be.
