North Gate Kidz Children’s Church

Hi! My name is Kim Tippett and I have the awesome privilege of being our Children’s Church Pastor in North Gate Kidz. It is a tremendous honour to serve God and to serve the children of our Church and City. I have a background in Early Childhood/ Childcare, and have been an Early Childhood Professional for approximately 14 years. Through North Gate Kidz, I have the awesome privilege to see firsthand the power of living a life for Christ through the eyes of the children. They have a faith and understanding that we as adults can only aspire to because they are not inhibited by restraint and can communicate their love for God freely.

Our vision for North Gate Kidz is that it will be a large, relational children’s church full of fun and love that will resource our children to be all that they can be in God. In order to achieve this, we provide foundational learning in the Christian values of our Church through bible lessons, games, music, dance, puppetry and multimedia.

North Gate Kidz provides programs for primary school aged children that run during our 10am church services. We value children’s uniqueness and individuality when welcoming them into our North Gate Kidz programs. We aim to provide quality, inspiring but above all, life-changing programs that will encourage the children to live an awesome life of which Jesus is the cornerstone. In order to serve parents of younger children not yet at primary school, we also provide a comfortable parent’s room with a live-feed from the auditorium during the service.

As a Church, we aim to reach our community and North Gate Kidz has a vital role to play in this. We encourage the children to be who they are out in their world of influences, shining God’s light wherever they go.

Psalm 127:3 tells us “Children are a gift from the Lord, a reward from Him.” (NLT), and we take our role in the lives of the children very seriously. The appointment of all North Gate Kidz team members are subject to relevant screenings and interviews with myself as the Children’s Church Pastor and our Senior Pastors. Together with the children, our team has lots of fun and laughter as we learn together all God wants us to learn. We look forward to welcoming you to North Gate Kidz at Church during our morning services.
