Media Department

Hi I’m John Baker and I head up the North Gate Media Department. The vision of this department is to produce video, audio and still imagery that clearly and powerfully communicates the Gospel message.

At North Gate, we believe that media is a very important tool in reaching our community. This is because:
1) multi-media is an extremely powerful communicator; and
2) it enables us to present Church and the Gospel Message in a way that is relevant to people of any background or demographic.

We use multi-media to communicate various messages in different parts of our Church Service. This includes slides for various departments during announcements, promotions for upcoming events, highlights from events that have been held, and sound and movie files that are used as part of a speaker’s message to illustrate a point or an idea.

We also like to have a lot of fun with the media we present! This is a great department to become involved in, so if you have an interest in media or would like to learn more, come and introduce yourself to me this Sunday!
