North Gate Kids - Children's Church
Hi Kids and Parents! My name is Kelly and I am the Children’s Pastor at North Gate Christian Church.
It is my job to make sure kids have an awesome time in God’s house and get to know Jesus as their Friend and Saviour.
I head up a fantastic team who share this vision for Children’s ministry and desire to serve children and parents in our church and community.
A few important things you need to know about North Gate Kids are:
All pre-school (ages 3+, toilet-trained) and primary school aged children are welcome at our upstairs North Gate Kids programs on a Sunday morning from
10am until 11.30am , even if mum and dad do not come to church.
Our programs include a time of Praise and Worship in the main auditorium, then we head upstairs for an interactive Bible lesson followed by great activities that cater for children of all age levels and interests.
Every child who attends our upstairs programs must have an annual registration form filled in and signed by a parent/guardian. Then each week, children must be signed in and out of our program by a parent/guardian, and will not be permitted to leave our care with anyone other than the adult who signed them in.
If your child/children have any medical or additional needs, we ask that you please contact the Children’s Pastor prior to your child attending our programs so that we ensure we can best accommodate their needs.
Our Children’s ministry also includes a Parent’s Room at the rear of the auditorium that has a live audio feed of the church service. There are changing facilities for young children who still require nappy changes and therefore cannot participate in our upstairs programs. It is also a comfortable place to feed and settle babies, or to bring toddlers who need some toys and space to play during our church services.
Children must always be supervised by their parent/guardian in the Parent’s Room.
